Villa Mougno provides an ideal situation for a perfect holiday, in a quiet and private position with a super pool and large terrace for total relaxation, yet it is only a short walk to the village with restaurant/bar grocery store, boulangerie and wine co-operative.

Restaurants, supermarkets, street markets, shops, banks etc can be found in the lively market towns of Clermont l’Herault or Pezenas, both a 15 minute drive away. Swimming at Mediterranean beaches, 35 minutes, Lake Salagou (also fishing and watersports), 10 minutes, River Hérault (canoe hire) 15 minutes.

Villa Mougno is a spacious, south facing, modern villa in a quiet situation with a private pool and wonderful views over the countryside. The pool 8 x 5 m, is entered by steps at the shallow end and has a big terrace around it with plenty of sun beds for sunbathing. About half of the pool is one metre deep sloping to two metres at the deep end; there’s a handy poolside shower and WC.

Another terrace on an easy, higher level, is ideal if you’d like a quiet spot to read, surrounded by trees and countryside.

The kitchen is well equipped with stove (oven, four hotplates), dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer etc. The big dining room seats 10 and opens to another part of the terrace with outside dining setting for 10, covered to provide shade from the hot summer sun.

The large sitting room has a high, vaulted, beamed ceiling and is comfortably furnished with sofas and armchairs, with french doors to a small balcony with lovely views over the old village. Another set of French doors open to a long terrace, which overlooks the pool. There’s a TV with satellite which receives UK channels and radio, also a CD player/cassette/radio and lots of board games.

On the ground floor, there are four bedrooms, a twin bedded room with a wonderful view of the old village; doors open from this room to the sitting room. There’s another twin bedded room plus two further double bedrooms. One of the double bedded rooms has French doors opening to the peaceful upper terrace.

A bathroom with bath and overhead shower, WC and hand washbasin plus a shower room with shower, WC, hand washbasin are also on the ground floor.

A second smaller, equipped kitchen with washing machine at the far end of the house opens to a covered terrace with ping pong table.

A cot and highchair are available if required. The owners live nearby for assistance if required and will be as friendly or as discreet as you wish.

A short walk from the villa, the village and has a bar/restaurant, grocery store, boulangerie and wine co-operative, also a tennis court which anyone may use free of charge. Other restaurants in neighbouring villages and the lively market towns of Clermont l'Hérault and Pézenas; both about 15 minutes' drive. Excellent walking in the nearby hills.
