On the edge of the medieval, fortified village of Nébian , this spacious, completely self-contained apartment of 56 sq m, is attached to the owners’ villa. It gives the best of both worlds by offering the modern comforts of a quality apartment and by being just a short stroll to the quaint little village. The lively market town of Clermont l'Hérault, just 2 kms, has restaurants, shops, etc.

The villa itself is enclosed by a garden with superb views over the village and to the mountains beyond.

The pool, 11m x 5m, 1- 2 m deep with a cover for security, is surrounded by a large terrace with plenty of room for sun beds, and a cabana provides shade. it is shared with the owners of the property. A BBQ is provided for guests’ use

Entry to the apartment is by way of the pool terrace, to its own entrance via an exterior flight of steps up to the apartment’s terrace of approximately 20 sq m, overlooking the pool and terraced gardens at the rear of the property. The terrace is private and not overlooked and has outdoor furniture. There is an open-plan living area of approximately 60 sq m, with sofas forming a comfortable sitting area with TV, overlooking the terrace and garden, a dining area, and kitchen separated from the dining area by a worktop. The kitchen is well equipped and has an oven, cook top, good sized fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine, double sink etc. The kitchen window looks out on the fantastic views to the front of the house.

A small hallway has a double-bedded room to the left with the view to the front of the house and another bedroom with one double and one single bed to the right, which looks over the pool and garden. There is a shower room with shower, WC and hand washbasin.

Both bedrooms are spacious with plenty of storage and hanging space and the sloping timber ceilings with huge exposed beams throughout give a cosy atmosphere to the whole apartment.

The well-travelled owners, a retired French couple, live on the ground floor. They speak some English and will be as friendly or as discreet as you wish.

Nebian has a café/bar which serves meals at lunch time and in the evening, a boulangerie, ‘Tabac’ and commercial vans which call into the village during the week. It is only 2 kms to the market town of Clermont l'Hérault which has supermarkets, restaurants, shops and all services.

We found the facilities to be excellent. The (owners) were a lovely couple and their apartment was superb with everything being of very high quality and with a really super swimming pool. We also found them to be most charming people and were very good for practicing our French!

We have had a great vacation in Nébian. The views to the garden and valley from the apartment were fantastic and the swimming pool were just as great as expected from the pictures. (Owners) made us feel very welcome. We hope to return some day as we enjoyed the stay very much.
