The Chateau is in a beautiful situation within its own grounds and surrounded by its vineyards.  There are superb views over the vines to the mountains beyond from all rooms.  Access is via an independent entrance to the first floor, where the spacious guests’ lounge, comfortably and invitingly furnished, breakfast room and games room (with Cards, Scrabble, Bridge table etc) are situated.  All are furnished with splendid antique furniture befitting the surroundings.

On the ground floor, a summer room with vaulted ceiling houses a billiard table, tables and chairs.  You are free to wander around the grounds with centuries old trees and a little ‘bambouseraie’ – an ancient bamboo plantation.

An Honour System operates, allowing guests to choose a bottle of the Chateau’s own excellent wine, (also available to purchase from the Chateau’s wine shop to take home) and enjoy either in the vast grounds, where tables and chairs are grouped in various locations, or indoors.  Coffee and tea making facilities are also available.

The owners live on the ground floor in a separate wing of the chateau.  The guest bedrooms are situated on the second floor and each has its own character.  They are all very comfortably furnished and have some antique furniture and period decoration.

The Tower Room is the smallest but so full of character, snugly following the contour of the tower in which it is situated, with a cupola ceiling of exposed stones and a double bed of 1m.40.

The Yellow Room is more Provençal in style, decorated in warm yellow with two single bed

The Blue Room, decorated in soothing blue tones, double bed of 1.m60

The Pink Room, the largest room with its cosy corner, overblown pink rose decoration, double bed 1m60

All rooms have ensuite shower rooms with WC and hand washbasin; the Pink Room has a bath with overhead shower, WC and hand washbasin.

PLEASE NOTE:

The village church is adjacent to the chateau.  Its bell rings on the hour and half hour.

No meals apart from breakfast are served but there are restaurants nearby.
