On the edge of the medieval, fortified village of Nébian , this spacious, completely self-contained apartment of 56 sq m, is the entire top floor of the owners’ recently built villa.  It gives the best of both worlds by offering the modern comforts of a quality apartment and by being just a short stroll to the quaint little village.  The lively market town of Clermont l'Hérault with restaurants, shops etc is just 2 kms.

The villa is surrounded by a garden with views at the front to the mountains and at the back to the village.  The is pool is 9m x 4m, with a depth around the edge of 1m, going to 1.70m in the centre.  The owners, a charming retired French/English couple, will use the pool from time to time.  They live on the ground floor and will be as discreet or as friendly as you wish.

The self-catering apartment has its own entrance via an exterior flight of steps.  A terrace of 9 sq m runs the length of the apartment and a large, covered terrace of 15 sq m provides the perfect spot for outdoor dining.  There are superb sweeping views to the mountains nearby from both terraces. 

Entry is via the roomy and bright sitting/ dining room with a fully equipped corner kitchen, including a fridge/freezer and microwave.  The hallway, with a WC off it, leads to the air conditioned double bedroom, which has a door opening to the long terrace.  A cot for a baby can be provided.  The large, fully tiled bathroom has a bath, separate shower, WC, hand washbasin and heated towel rail. 

A TV, CD/cassette player/radio and washing machine are provided.  Central heating for winter.

THE VILLAGE:

Nebian has a café/bar which serves meals at lunch time and in the evening, a boulangerie, ‘Tabac’ and commercial vans which call into the village during the week.  It is only 2 kms to the market town of Clermont l'Hérault which has supermarkets, restaurants, shops and all services.
